In 1995, I became a certified Colon Hydrotherapy practitioner, beginning a lifelong
journey dedicated to helping others experience the benefits of this ancient healing
modality. I founded Pathways to Health Healing Center in Bend, Oregon, where I
began my practice and opened the door to a deeper exploration of holistic healing.
My journey continues to be guided by a deep respect for the body’s innate wisdom and
its capacity for balance and restoration. I believe in the interconnectedness of mind,
body, and spirit, and in honoring the many individual pathways that can support
greater well-being.
For the last five years, I had the opportunity to work closely with Dr. Werner Vosloo, ND,
a naturopathic physician in St. George, Utah, whose practice focused on supporting
patients with complex, chronic health challenges, including mold-related illness and
Lyme disease.
During those five years, colon hydrotherapy became an important and necessary
component of the practice. I personally provided treatments to more than 7,000
patients, gaining invaluable experience working with individuals facing a wide range of
health concerns. This experience deepened my appreciation and education for the
connection between digestive health, elimination, the central nervous system, and
overall well-being.
While departing the clinic for Grants Pass, Dr. Vosloo, ND, shared: “ I am from South
Africa and I have worked with many Colon Therapists in different parts of the world. I
have never worked with a more knowledgeable and compassionate colon therapist than
Derrick. He has over three decades of experience, and he understands the science.”
With over 31 years of experience in colonics /colon hydrotherapy and holistic
wellness, I bring a professional, compassionate approach to every session—honoring
each person's unique needs and creating a space where you can feel comfortable,
respected, and supported.
My practice utilizes an FDA-cleared Class II medical device designed to provide a
hygienic, discreet, and odor-free environment before, during, and after your session.
Your comfort, privacy, and sense of ease are always important to me, and I strive to
create a peaceful environment where you can feel relaxed and well cared for.
It feels wonderful to be back in Oregon, and especially here in Grants Pass, where I can
continue doing work that has been such a meaningful part of my life for more than three
decades. Being close to family and surrounded by the beauty of nature, the river, and
the nearby coast feels like coming home. I’m grateful to be part of this community and
look forward to welcoming you to Pathways to Health.
I look forward to meeting you and helping you with your healing journey. I can be
reached at 360-303-6519. I offer free consultations.
